The Bank Holiday season is upon us once more and there are plenty of offers on days out, restaurants, things for the garden and DIY items to keep you busy this weekend.

Do some DIY or just relax in the garden

B&Q have some great offers this weekend on lawnmowers, paint and garden furniture. If you’re looking to get some painting done this weekend, Wilkinsons also have a deal on Dulux paint – just £14.95 for 5L.

Go out for the day

Long weekends are great for getting out and about and you don’t have to spend too much money to do this – even if you have a large family. Here are just a few options:

Some of us love to shop, but we also love to save. Up until the 5th of May you can get triple points at Boots when you spend £30 in store or £50 online – a great excuse to stock up on summer essentials. House of Fraser also have some good deals on at the moment with up to 30% off brands such as Vero Moda, Barbour, Calvin Klein, Clarins and Morphy Richards. If you’re looking to stock up on food essentials this weekend you can get £20 off a £60 spend on your first online shop using a voucher code from Sainsbury’s. Lidl also have a wealth of half price weekend offers this weekend including Strathvale Fresh British Pork Belly Slices (500g) £1.19 (was £2.39) and Braemoor Pork Shanks (2) £1.74 (was £3.49).

Get away for the weekend

If you want to get away for the weekend Premier Inn are offering £35 rooms. There are 125,000 rooms at £35 available from 1st May to the 23rd July, including the Bank Holiday weekends. If you’re a couple check out Village Hotels who are offering rooms at £35 per couple, which includes bed and breakfast, on Fridays and Sundays from now until 14th June.

Go out for a meal

Going out for food can be costly but there are a couple of deals on at the moment which will help you save money when the family gets hungry!
