Max Sport Whirlpool Microwave

By Martina Mercer

I didn’t think I used my microwave much as I was proud of avoiding microwave meals by cooking food from scratch. Then when it broke down (because I overloaded it with baked potatoes) I realised just how much I relied on it.

From melting chocolate for baking to warming bread and soups and of course, starting off the baked potatoes to cut down on time.

The children missed it too. Popcorn, porridge and warm croissants were taking up lots of time with the oven and making quite the mess.

So we looked for a quick cheap replacement and stumbled across the Whirpool Max Sport. With the England flag (removable) on the top, we thought it’d be the perfect edition. It was. It’s curved so it fits nicely in our corner, a part of the work surface we never use and so it makes great use of our space without getting in the way.

It’s also a lot easier to operate, I’m not a fan of reading instructions and so this was perfect for me. Simply press and go then wait for the beep.

The window is wider too so you can watch your food as it cooks, if you have time of course. It eliminates those messes of boiled over milk and soups.

A household family favourite we love it and we’ll be keeping the flag on for a little while longer as it add the perfect patriotic splash of colour.
