Keep the Kids Entertained on a Budget this Summer

The school summer holidays have just started and the kids are already driving you mad. You’re trying to think of things to do that won’t cost the earth and you’re running out of ideas. But there’s no need to panic! There are lots of offers on days out at the moment, including freebies and things to do on those rainy days- you just need to know where to look for them.

Here are just a few of the deals you can take advantage of right now:

Free and great deals on days out

Get a free month pass when you sign up for Kids Pass – freebies and savings on theme parks, restaurants, cinemas, indoor play centres and family breaks up and down the country.

If you live in Newcastle, you can watch free outdoor film screenings, which are being shown at the Newcastle Monument (next to the Metro station) throughout the summer holidays. In August you can catch The Maze Runner, Night at the Museum 3, Back to the Future, Shaun the Sheep Movie and more.

When doing your weekly shop look out of for boxes of Birds Eye products. They’re offering kids go free to Merlin attractions with one full paying adult/child on selected packs. 

Head to Paradise Wildlife Park for just £34 for two adults and two children with Buyagift.

Kids love their bikes? Book them on a free bike maintenance courses at Halfords.

Things to make and do (for those rainy UK days)
